The core offer
Partners introduce established businesses that may need custom website design, Managed IT, IT projects and consulting, SEO and local visibility, a HIPAA Security Risk Analysis, or a coordinated combination of these services.
Southern Consulting & Design handles discovery, recommendations, proposals, and delivery while protecting the partner's existing client relationship. The partner receives a referral payment when the client hires SCD and pays for qualifying services.
The six-step referral process
Complete the referral form or send a warm email introduction.
SCD confirms eligibility and registers the referral.
We learn what is working, what is creating frustration, and what should happen first.
SCD develops a right-sized recommendation instead of forcing a preset package.
SCD handles the work directly or collaborates with the partner when appropriate.
The referral payment is issued after the applicable payment requirements are met.
Referral compensation
The referred client must remain active and paid for 90 days before the recurring-service reward is issued.
Illustrative reward estimates
These figures are estimates provided only to demonstrate how the referral formula may work. They do not represent guaranteed or actual payouts. Final rewards depend on the signed client agreement, collected qualifying service fees, exclusions, refunds, cancellations, and the final Partner Referral Agreement.
Revenue that is not included
Referral payments are calculated on qualifying SCD service fees, not the entire invoice.
Referral Partner
The partner makes the introduction, and SCD handles the process directly. This works well for accountants, attorneys, commercial real estate agents, insurance professionals, business brokers, chambers, and networking contacts.
Collaborative Partner
The partner remains involved in discovery or delivery when appropriate. This works well for photographers, branding professionals, sign and print companies, marketing consultants, low-voltage installers, and telecom providers.
Delivery or White-Label Partner
SCD performs selected services behind the partner's brand or as an identified subcontractor. This works well for marketing agencies without IT capabilities, IT companies without website services, website companies without Managed IT or compliance capabilities, and consultants managing larger client projects.
White-label work is quoted and governed separately rather than using standard referral compensation.
The SCD Partner Promise
SCD respects the relationship between the partner and the referred business.
SCD will not use a referral as an excuse to aggressively sell unrelated services or push the referring partner out of the relationship.
The initial conversation remains focused on the needs identified in the referral. Additional needs are discussed when the client raises them or when they materially affect the project.
The partner receives appropriate updates when the referral is accepted, discovery is scheduled, a proposal is delivered, the project is won or declined, and a payment becomes eligible.
Client-sensitive information and proposal details are shared only with the client's permission.
When SCD encounters a client who needs the partner's services, the goal is to return the opportunity whenever the partner is a good fit.
What qualifies as a referral
A name copied from a directory without an introduction does not qualify. The partner does not need to close the sale.
Referral attribution rules
A registered referral remains attributed to the partner for six months.
The first eligible partner to register the referral receives attribution.
SCD confirms whether a referral is eligible within two business days.
Rewards are based only on payments successfully collected from the client.
Project commissions are paid within 30 days of SCD receiving the qualifying client payment.
Recurring-service rewards are paid after the client completes 90 paid days.
Refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, or unpaid invoices do not generate referral compensation.
SCD may decline referrals outside its capabilities, availability, values, or target market.
